    Hi Ladies,

How is everyone doing? I have logged in after a very loong time.

Merry Christmas and Happy new year to each one of you.

Ladies, just wanted to share my problems and I know in this group I will be able to get some good advice

Im married for 5 years now. In 2011 I had an ectopic pregnancy and my left Fallopian tube had to be removed.
I have hypothyroid and am on daily dose of Thyronorm 100mg
I have PCOS and have undergone 1 unsuccessful IUI.
Have been trying for baby and no luck till now.
I have stopped going to doctors for almost 5months now.

I had kinda lost hopes but now I'm normal and strong and I know that I will have beautiful babies. Not sure when, but yes it will.

Need your valuable suggestions and support.

Best part is that my in-laws and husband is very supportive and take good care of me.

    Regards,
    Srilekh

    Hi Srilekh

Please do not worry. Lord Shri Ram will definitely listen to your prayers and soon you will hear the blessed patter of tiny feet. Please take care of your health, get in the correct mind frame. Relax for 1-2 months and consult a doctor afresh.

We human beings can only pray or visit doctors. It is for the God to listen and fulfill our wishes.

    Thanks & Regards
    tara

    Hi Srilekh,
Understand your situation totally...its really difficult to go on for 5 years with all the stupid questions from relatives, friends, etc.

Whats important is that you remember and cling onto the hope that since you have conceived once, you are very capable for conceiving again. Yes, having lost a tube it reduces your chances for a normal conception, but with some level of support and direction of a fertility specialist, you should definitely be able to realize your dream of a bundle of joy.

Have you visited any fertility doctor as yet? Its important that you do so as You have lost a tube and have a thyroiod issue. Both of these issues need to be taken into consideration before deciding on the protocol.

Further more, for IUI, success is possible at about 12% over 5 - 6 cycles cumulative or else the recommended mode would IVF/ ICSI. I would strongly recommend that you do not lose hope and meet the right fertility specialist to guide you through this phase. Its important to stay physically and mentally strong through this phase.

I have gone through 6 IUIs and 2 ICSI...so totally understand the need to be strong and believe that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Keep the faith and god will definitely hear your prayers!
