    I'm 31 years old and Below is my semen analysis & culture sement report. We are trying for a baby past 3 years and no success so far. Is my report ok?
    *Semen Analysis Report :*
    colour: greyish white
    odour: seminal musty
    PH: 8.5,volume-1.5ml
    viscosity:slightly high viscous
    Liquefaction: 30 minutes
    Sperm COunt : 70 million/ml

    Motility : 70 %
    Grade A(Rapid Progression) - 35%
    Grade B(slow Progression) - 35%
    Grade c(non-progrssive) - 5%
    Grade d(immotile) - 25%
    *Morphlogy*
    Normal - 16%
    Abnormal - 84%
    Head Defects - 60%
    Tail Defects - 1%
    midpiece Defects - 23%
    Aggutination : NIL
    Vitality - 85%
    FRUCTOSE - Present
    Other Findings : Plenty of PC,cell debris(++)



    *Culture Semen -*
    Microscopy - NO cells,occasional gram positive cocci in pairs
    Anitbiotices : organism isolated : coag.neg.staphylococcus

    Ampicillin - susceptible
    cephotaxime - susceptible
    ciprofloxacin - susceptible
    cloxacillin - susceptible
    erythromycin - susceptible
    gentamicin - susceptible

    Welcome to IL:)

    I am not an expert in these values but on looking at the sperm count and motility the values looks normal but I assume morphology as to be >30(as per WHO) . So do check with your doctor on that .

    Wll just to add my two cents,have you been tested for DNA fragmentation?.This is relatively new concept,however explains why the implantation is impaired or the growth gets stagnated in the first trimestor losses.There is a possibility that inspite of a normal sperm count and motility there is still a high dna fragmentation ,which can delay pregnancy.
