Thanks for sharing this info. I am getting educated with more and more info day by day through IL.

This is my first IVF with this doctor earlier IVFs were with a different doctor in a different city altogether. Currently, I am undergoing treatment in Pune at Gupte hospital.
There are two main reasons for me choosing this doctor over others in same city:
1. They have a good name in the city. Have heard a few success stories.
2. Doctor gives personal attention and he himself answers queries all by himself rather than assistants doing the talking. I can call him up directly for any queries. (which was lacking with my previous doctor.)

I know clomid is not the way after so many IVFs, considering I am poor responder to stimulation injections. We did discuss this with the doctor, but he says - even with high stimulation dose if I am not responding good, then we can have lower dose cycle and retrieve fewer eggs. So we gave-in to his suggestion of a natural cycle. He is looking for 2 more embies from the cycle.

In my last traditional IVF cycle, where only ER was done resulting in 2 embies, (both being freezed for selective FET), 5 eggs were retrieved. All my cycles have been ICSI because of low count of my DH. ICSI resulted in 3 embies - 2 grade A and 1 not of good quality. So actually all 3 are freezed but out of them only 2 are grade A.

We are planning to check with doctor again if natural cycle will really be of any help as we do not want to waste more time doing trials. Patience is steadily in decline.

After reading your response, i feel its good choice..

2 A grade's is good.. Yes getting 2-3 more embryos is good decision.
But ask him if you can go with regular IVF stimulation to get 2-3more
embryos.. My doc transferred 4 embyros to couple of people who got success...

Infact i am waiting to start FET with 3 A grade embies.

Yes, that is what we are planning to tell doc.

Did you ask the doc for the success rate?
How do u know about other patients, Do you talk directly to them?

I am generally scared to talk to fellow patients at the clinic.. especially after 3 repeated failures. Coz I have to tell how much I have gone through.. and their reaction is like --- "OH MY GODDDDD". And that gives me more stress, so I stopped talking to fellow patients at the clinic.

Initially I was skeptical about posting in IL too. But joining IL was a good decision. Its helping me relieve stress and gain knowledge You ladies are very helpful without giving me stress about my repeated TTC failures.

Vasumathy, I tried HPT 2 days back - day before yest. and it was BFN.

Still no AF. Visiting doc tomm.

Hi ILites,

Did blood test as well, but BFN.
Visited Doc, he says it might happen due to delayed ovulation or no ovulation at all. The reason didn't satisfy me though.. shouldn't he check inside?

He has given me Deviry 10mg, once a day for 7 days. AF should happen once the tablet is discontinued and them see him again. He said, tablet wont harm even if there are chances of pregnancy.
