    Dear ILETS,

Am new to this forum, i regularly read most of the posts , but this is my first post.
Married for 3+ yrs trying to conceive from past 1 yr (had early miscarraige in nov 2011) Not able to conceive and no luck so far :(

About my self : No problems ,able to ovulate (also tried clomid for 3 cycles as per doctor suggestion) , No tube blocks etc , but strangely i had delayed periods for 45 days after SSG(similar to HSG test) doctor suspects it might be due to stress undergone during the process

but off late have developed poly cystic ovaries which i never had and developed recently (i.e after this clomid + SSG)

I am really confused with these things feeling depressed with my situation :(

DH has no problems as such and supportive :)

Suggestions / Replies will be really helpful to me .

    Hi,

The stress of getting pregnant is succha a stress in itself.Delay if periods is a commom occurence unfortunately during such stressful situation.Since you have fallen pregnant naturally before there is a possibility that with timed IC and follicular scans you fall pregnant again. This also depends on age esply your age.If you have already crossed 30 i would suggest to waste no time and meet a fertility specialist. They should be able to run a panel of test on both you and your husband. Also its beneficial to undergo a hysteroscopy (only after a few medicated cycles being unsuccessful) for the doc to see the insides in case of any issues with the uterous or the FT.
I would suggest to undertake few IUI cycles with a fertility specialist, and take it forward henceforth!!
    Good luck

Clomid tend to produce more follicles or try to active more of the andral follicles. After Clomid use doc may see multiple follicles in the ovary. May be that is why you are facing this.
Please ensure FSH, LH, TSH & prolactin hormones are normal in you. May be you can check the sugar levels too! This will help in plan best treatment for you and may help you to achieve pregnancy faster!
    All the best!

    Hi Divs,
Normally in 2WW heavy workout needed to be avoided. Gentle ones that don't hurt your tummy is fine. If your weight is in very high level, you can give TTC a break for one or two months and do heavy workouts. Then you can tone down the level and maintain with less tension to tummy. Or with simple exercises!
    All the best.

During the 2ww, dont do anything that's too intense. May be walking is a good idea but no power walking. Your story sounds similar to mine. I had two miscarriages and my levels were normal. no sugar. one doctor said i have PCOS and other said I dont have PCOS. There happened to be a break for almost one year for TTC. I just did walking and ate healthy food. i also added raspberry leaf tea couple of times a day. Added sprouted green gram to my routine. I lost almost 16 pounds over a 10 month period. i was not overweight but my previous two pregancies made my weight fluctuate a lot and became overweight.

Then i went to obgyn who prescribed clomids to me. I got pregnant on the first cycle trying naturally. I truly believe eating healthy and losing weight helped my body.
