    PCOD treatment

    Hey

    I had been diagonised with symptoms of PCOD and the Gynac Dr. Sobha Rani of Manipal hospital , has put on medication.She gave me this Tab called "LOETTE" which is a 21 day course and said that this would act as remedy to my PCOD as well as act as a contraceptive..
    I asked her whether it would have any side effects ..she said NO....
    Now after reading some reviews about this doc on websites, I have decided to change my gynac since M planning to conceive some time next year...

    Read the posts on PCOS and was relieved that women with PCOS do conceive.... [​IMG]

    Has anyone heard of Dr.Suhasini Inamdar?
    If so, could u plz let me know?..I wish to consult her from now on....
    Any good gynac whom u may have consulted in bangalore and found to be good?

    Hello Sona,

    My Personal suggestion is if u r trying to conceive, its better to go for a fertility specialist than a Gynaec. I was consulting with Dr.Nandhini before she is very good coz it was too far my place I cudn't continue...

    I am sorry I have no idea abt Dr.Suhashini.

    excess hair growth,over weight with these pcos problem

    i am suffering from pcos problem it was diagonised very recently
    i have a baby girl of 2 years
    i am very worried about the other side effects causing by these pcos like excess hair growth weight gain...
    i meet my doctor in uk london they wont give any medicines nor treatment for these pcos .
    i am planning to come india in mid of the april 2009
    so i am searching for doctors in cheenai

    Sorry for the late reply. I've not been active in IL for the last 3 months.

    consult hours 7 pm to 9 pm
    Saturdays.

    This doctor now visits the clinic on Saturdays. Therefore, please call beforehand to fix an appointment. You can call in the evenings after 6. If you are coming from out of station, tell her that clearly, so she can give you the correct date. She takes at least 20 minutes minimum for a patient, so waiting time will be more. There will be several patients waiting. So please see to it that you have lots of time at hand.

    I would like to share some positive news with you. My SIL who had PCOS, tubal blockage (one complete, the other partial), diabetes etc. has concieved in just 3 months of taking treatment from a doctor in Chennai. She is married for 2.5 years and was already taking treatment for more than a year with a doctor in hyderabad. The hyderabad doctor said that the next option is only IUI. So my SIL came to chennai for a second opinion. In just 3 months of taking treatment (only tablets), she has concieved. We are all so relieved as we did not expect to hear the good news so soon because of her multiple problems.

    This doctor is in saidapet in chennai. She has already treated several patients with PCOS successfully. One of our family friends had suggested this doctor to my SIL. The family friend who has PCOS is in US, she concieved her first kid through this doctor's treatment. Now she had come down to India to take treatment from this doctor to conceive for a second baby and has already concieved. Therefore, I suggest you can go for a second opinion to this doctor if you are in chennai. I can provide the address if you PM me.

    I too have PCOD and I have concieved (though naturally without treatment). So there is definitely hope for people suffering with PCOD. Please do not lose heart. It just takes some time and effort and correct method of treatment. Good luck!

    Was surprised to hear that news and so kind and nice of u that ur sharing with others too... i have pcos problem and also had a tubal abortion 2 yrs back and trying to conceive.. when i was in india i resided in saidapet and 1st time to know abt some doctor in saidapet to do this wonder... it wud be greatful if u can send me the contact details of that doctor..moreover im visiting india very soon...
