Hi Susruta,
Please read previous posts in this thread itself. You can get more info on this.
Almost 50% of girls doesn't have good sex knowledge. I too sailed in the same boat b4 marriage. Do some research, Know abt reproductive system for both male & female. This will help u to know basics. Don worry.... Don't feel ashamed... There is no point in it!!! Be cheerful....

Hi All,

I am having lot of pain during intercourse.
The gynac suggested lidocaine ointment same as xylocaine
I am little scared to use that.
Has anybody used that? Can you tell me how safe it is?

Thanks all
VKA

Hi Friends,

I need your help. I am married for 1.5 years.
We had some problems, misunderstanding because of his parents.
After we got settled that is after 4 months of marriage, we become normal. We have tried for hardly 3-4 times. But it was too painful for me. We never did completely. After that because of job we were in different places.
Finally now we are settled in a single place. We are thinking of planning for a baby. We have to try, do that then there is possibilty for conceiving.
the doctor suggested Lidocaine to reduce pain.

Now we both are not all that interested in sex.
Please advice what should i do. I cannot discuss with anybody else.

Thanks all for taking time and givig suggestions

bye
vka

Hi Vka,
I have been married for the last 5 months.Even i didnt have any knowledge on sex before marriage.I too had pain initially when we had sex but after 2 months it had reduced and after 4 months it is almost no pain.So i guess it will reduce once u start having sex.Even my friend had the same experience.May be u are losing interest because of the pain but it will surely reduce only by having sex.

It is true Vk. You should start slowly. There will be a stinging/tingling pain. But it will slowly reduce. If its unbearable you can tell your hubby and slow down a bit. but dont stop and turn your face.
It will be bad only in the first 3 times. later on slowly it will be gone. It is just a small hole you should give it some time to expand and give you pleasure.
Am sure your husband is waiting for you to get ready for it. He will surely be supportive. Try it girlie... C'mon..
