25 years, ttc and pcod..help meeeeeeeeeee

    Dear lovely ladies,

    i was diagonied with pcod when i was 19..i am 25 now..got married an year back and now i am in ttc. changed my diet to no sugar, no dairy, no junk food and daily intake apple, almond, walnut, kidney bean, banana, brocolli, flax seed grounded,spinach,carrot..but cant avoid white rice as i am a south indian and in joint family. do workout in threadmil and dance and walk a bit daily. i am 5.4" and weight 55kgs.. had my periods regular for last 3 months after diet and exercise. my insulin, LH and FSH, prolatin levels are perfect.. but still have cyst in overies.i dont have any symptom of PCOS.. doctor has put me in APCOD powder and Ben force tablet for next 3 months. i am afraid if it wil workout with diet and exercise and these tablets in next 3 months, i really want a baby.. can anyone tell me if APCOD and Benforce has worked for u?? i am a pure vegetarian, so can suggest me if i can make any alteration to my diet as mentioned above??pls heeeelppppppppppp....

    Im in ttc tooo.. I hav pcos nd im in metformin 2g per day.realy i lovd ur diet list.its a gud sign tht u hav
    regular periods now.stick on to d diet.wil workout fr sure.can
    u share ur diet chart wid me?

    Hi junithavijay..

    I diet I follow is as per my investigation in internet. I am not sure if its right or not.. Upon getting up, I have 2 glasses of water.. 30min later have lemon in warm water, then some almonds and walnuts.. Then have some porridge and start my exercise for 20 Min, I jump, dance, jog, and walk in threadmil for 15 min. After exercise have 2 spoons of flax seed in water. For lunch I have one bowl rice with spinach,kidney bean or lima beans, dhal,atleast 3 vegetable. For snak I have raw reanut, chick peas, sprouts, apple, orange, guava etc.. For dinner I have 2 roti and one vegetable and dhal.one tumbler butter milk..have brocolli 2 times a week.. Not sure if this is good for pcod but since I am a pure vegetarian I am confused if what I eat is good for me or not. I also walk 30 min a day apart from exercise. I totally eliminated sugar and sweet items, ofcourse junk food.. Any suggessions to improve???

    Try to change white rice to brown rice.... Do 1 hr walking apt from all other exercises...loads of baby dust to u...

    Have you lost your weight after starting workout? Loose some more. I was told it helps..... Good luck :)

    hi,

    your diet is really good...just don't worry much abt pcod...as your periods are regular so it means you are ovulating every month means you are releasing egg every month. I don't know much abt those tabs but what I can say is have IC from 10th day to till 20th day. One or other month definitely click.

    I too have pcod came to know 5 yrs back and even for me periods are regular and I have conceived naturally and have 2 kids.

    Loads of baby dust to you...

    I have pcod and have all the classic symptoms too. I never get period on my own. It's only on medication. Am on benforce-m, folic acid and APCOD now. Have been on these since 6 months now. Did'nt work me, but every woman is different. What may work for you may not work for me. Docs do try different permutations and combinations until it works. But in your case, since you are having natural periods, I dont think there is much to worry... Loads of baby dust :)

    Can anyone tell me if I can have sweet potato for ovulating?? I had regular periods from Feb 13 till may 13 after proper exercise and diet... But in June months I couldnt continue diet and exercise and had lots of icecreams.. (i hate myself for this...) so now periods dint turn up for last 2 months.. I have anyway started diet since July..
