Hi friends

Yesterday, I was feeling very low and cried a lot thinking about my unborn child. I concived on Sep 2006.The joy didn't last long.Had a missed abortion in 3rd month(Dec). If my kid was born, it would have been 8 months by now.Very unfortunate me !!I I remember, my mom, came, so excited, to help in the 3rd month with all masakkai karuppu saree, bangles, necessary ingredients...All went for a toss...

Added to this agony, diagonised with PCOS. Since then undergoing all this medical tests, FSH studies....What not....My hubby and my mom came to my rescue and consoled me. I am 28 and my hubby 31, this too worries me a lot.

I didn't visit indusladies for long(mebbe for 10 days). Felt like venting out !!! We all sail in the same boat. What else can we do, but to try...retry.... pray...!!

I am sorry.. for such a rambling...Thanks !!

Luv

Ridge

Hi Hema,

Do not worry. Good that u have gor urself checked. Hope the same is done for ur hubby too and the reports are normal. See if they say u r ovulating early and u get ur periods n 27 days that i sfine. Usually women are said to ovulate 15 days prior to their next period. So in u case if u ahve a regular 27 days cycle then u r ovulating on 12th day..U shld consider 1st day of ur period as 1 day of the cycle. Try ot have IC on those days.

Wishing u best of luck.

Question Re: Trying to Conceive: Support group for Women

Hi IndusLadies,
Glad to find a site sharing all the personal problems n supporting one n all across the globe...kudos to all of you!!
Wish you will all suggest me what to do...am writing u my post...

Myself married n will be celebrating our 1st anniversary by this May 2008' .
everybody like kids n so are we..!!
Coming straight to the point.., we (myself n my hubby) both are working as software engineers. We work like hell, return home tired...n we njoy some days being @home ,spend some personal time for ourselves..!!
My problem is with the irregular periods...right from the very first time after i got matured...this problem was there..!! consulted so many doctors during my +2,graduation n post graduation...Every doctor i've consulted said that dont worry ..it is common problem, it would get regularised once after my marriage.
For time being they gave me some harmonal tablets, due to which i've put on weight,.!!
And now after marriage my periods are not regularised... and so no hope for pregnancy... without knowing the time when the ovulation starts , it is so meaningless to think of pregnancy..!!
We are very eager n waiting for the preganancy...!! To say u all, i've got my last period on Jan 25th 2008 and till now i didnt get my period again..!!
Am very much depressed and feeling sick of this condition of mine...as every body asks me about the kids...like when are u planning..!!
My Husband is so kind n so lovable...he is not asking me anything nor pointing me that am the reason for not having kids,,!!
some times i feel like dying..!! After visited so many doctors , am vexed to visit a Faaltoo doctor again n again.... So please Kindly Suggest me a Good doctor , such that my problem would be solved..
please suggest me a Good Doctor @ Hyderabad,,
i would be very thankful to u all for all my life time..!!

Waiting for your replies...

Uma

Dear purvi, yamuna, ilovebabies,
As everyone has pointed out, please don't worry. God will bless you with a baby. Please keep trying.

Dear ridge,
Sorry about your loss. But please don't lose hope. Keep trying. You have a lot of friends here and we'll all pray for you.

Dear Uma,
I am so sorry about your condition. But please don't lose hope. I am sure there are good doctors who can help you out. Unfortunately I am not from the hyd area. But we'll pray for you. Keep trying.

Some common tips:
1. Try to know your ovulation days. Use the following link to calculate your ovulation days - Ovulation Calculator and Ovulation Calendar - BabyCenter. Keep trying on these days countinuously.
2. During or immediately after ejaculation try to keep a pillow under your hip. This will aid movement of the sperms in since they need not fight gravity.
3. Although this is intimate, I'll come out and say it anyway. Try the ejaculation as deep as possible, this was one of the advices from my gyn.

Dear phoenix,anithaa,gvk and friends

Thanks a lot for your soothing words and prayers. yes, life moves on..... and waiting for good to happen.

Uma

I think its high time you go and consult and good Gyn in hyderabad, if u r seriously looking for a child. Search and go thru referrals, you will find it.

I had the same symptoms as urs and mistook it as pregnancy, which turned out as PCOS. Me too in software. I can understand the stress this has. But now, I have changed to a position, which is less demanding. I too had irregular periods, but now, after gyn consultation, my periods are regular without tablets.Just keeping my prayers on and waiting for good to happen. All the best

Luv

Ridge

Dear Ridge,

I too agree with Vivbass. Can you please let us know how you are getting your periods regularly without medication? It would really help all of us who are suffering from PCOS.

Regards,
Anitha
