Receiving Garbarakshambigai ghee prasadam from temple

    Hi Friends,

    I am not sure if this has been posted already. You can receive ghee/oil prasadam from Garbarakshambigai temple directly by post. All you need is to send DD to the temple office along with a covering letter stating your's and spouse's Name, Address, Rasi and Nakshatram. They will do archana with the details and send you the ghee.

    It took 4 weeks for me to receive the ghee after sending the DD. I am in US. If you are in abroad, You can ask someone from india to send the DD along with the covering letter. Make sure you write the Address clearly in the covering letter.

    The ghee is in a small bottle. We need to mix it with 1/2 kg ghee. Both husband & wife should have it for 48 days before going to bed. If husband couldn't have it daily, wife can continue it. We should not have the ghee during our periods. I found this information in their temple book.

    I will be starting my ghee from tomorrow. God bless all the ttc ladies.

    Hi all,
    I had asked one of my friend to get the ghee for me and she has got it.
    I had tested positive the day after she got it.
    Am yet to have it. am on 40 days now.
    Can i have this ghee now that am pregnant? If so how to have it?
    Else what should i do with the ghee.

    I hope you can have it just like normal procedure. Either can have a spoonful after mixing with more ghee or try taking pepper size for those days!

    Hi all,

    procedure for taking ghee prasadam is as follows:

    This ghee prasadam has to be mixed with a quarter Kilo of cow's ghee at home. This has to be consumed in small quantities for 48 days by both husband and wife. It can be mixed and consumed with normal food and taken at any time during the day. This ghee prasadam should not be consumed by anyone other than the couple trying to conceive. Avoid taking the prasadam when you have your menstrual periods. Also avoid taking non-vegetarian food during this period. Many people who have had faith in the Goddess have been blessed with a baby.

    Thanks a lot for the valuable information.

    I went to Garbarakshambika temple in Aug 2010.I got a positive result on 49th day of taking the ghee.

    I've delivered a baby girl on 19th May 2011 through a normal delivery...No words to thank Goddess Garbarakshambika for her blessings.

    Childless Couples...Plz pray to Grabarakshambika Devi with full faith.you too will be blessed............

    I just read all the post in this thread .I have never heard abt this temple and prasadam of ghee anywhere.
    I have visited their site ....and read everything abt puja...plss do tell me is this happens to the couple without child and is it a sucess ??...sorry to ask such a question but I am egar to know sucess stories of this ....

    I would like to try..... can we take this ghee with anything and during which time of day or we have to take ghee alone (not mixed in any food ) ??
