    Dear Frnds,

I am quite new to this forum and have been reading all these threads. I felt I really need to salute my fellow women pals out here for their strength , determination, patience and many more values. You guys are simply THE BEST!!:bowdown

When I was reading the TTC stories and some success journeys, I just realised the trust we render to God and the smile we keep on our faces and keep life going.

My TTC journey started 3 years back

Was counseled by a gyneac before marriage that if we are not planning for a kid soon, i should better take precautions-so then depended on loette pills for a year and then planned to concieve.

My periods went for a toss after i stopped my pills and consulted a gynaec. Meanwhile gained 5-7 kgs extra weight. She put me on metaformin and indicated that i had pcod and need to shed some weight.

I tried to shed but in vain. My food habits changed as i was more inclined towards sweets and lavish food. So my weight kept increasing and now i am 83 kgs.

    Lessons and Mistakes:

    1. Change of doctor: I realised that if i am not conceving in a matter of a year i should not stick with a simple gynaec , rather switch to a infertility specialist- I realised i wasted a good time with a simple gynaec

    2. No consistent exercise due to which pcod never can get resolved

Oct 2010 had a laproscopy drilling and my periods got regulated for 4 months but with some peculiar new trends.....like bleeding betw periods.

In my lap doc found i had a blockage in my left tube....so had a BONUS

So finally had my HSG test to check the same and doc has put on placentrax injection.

Waiting for my periods which was due on 19th Feb, may have got irregular due to HSG test.

    My targets now:

Weight loss of 10 kgs in a months time
    No sweets/Minimal rice/No fries/

    :thumbsup

I wish if we all have the zest to sail thru this tough n complicated phase in our life and may God bless you all

    Hi BPositiv,

    Welcome to the forums.
Many people visit this fertility forums and getting the best for what they wished. Even i wish you will also be the one with your fulfilled desire in near future. Dont worry. stay strong.
Try to reduce your weight. Work on it. Many with PCODs got conceived. So it is not impossible at all. Only thing is you need to work on right things at the right time. Go thru A-Z of trying to conceive in this forum. If you have any Qs or concerns in the treatment, u can ask. All ILites are very helpful.
Also, believe in god. Try to order Garbarakshambigai ghee and do shasti vratam. Definitely your prayers will be answered.
ALL THE VERY BEST to you.:thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup

    Hi BPositive,
    Welcome here...:)
Yes, Move ahead with infertility specialist when you are done with those regular gynecs. Weight loss is the key to those who are affected by PCOS/PCOD. If your watch your diet, work towards regular exercises & keep up with the medication, it may be possible to reduce the extra weight & see the positive effects in hormone imbalance.. May be very soon pregnancy could click! Just stay positive.
All the best to weigh loss! Baby dust to you.

Thanks Sandy,Anu and Vasu for your wishes and may your dream come true asap......

I have been trying to read articles and matter on tracking BBT. So ended up buying a BBT thermometer. Since had my hsg test this month couldnt track it properly but still did some trial and error.

It was close to 96 F and currently on 96.93 .....since have not got my chums and overdue by 9 days was a bit confused ....or is it just a side effect of the hsg test.....

Planning to take HPT tomorrow....just to give it a try :bonk but tend to hesitate as HPT has been playing April fool with me for so many years.:rotfl

Anybody with similar experiences with HSG test.....

    Babydust to you all!!!!

May be HSG or stress or some other things delay your periods. There is nothing wrong in taking up your HPT. If its not positive, meet your gynec & discuss about the delay in periods!
    Take care.

    Hey Vasu,

    Thanks for the advise.....

Something very interesting happened y'day and would like to share...

My frnds mom called me to check on my health and stuff....and just started by give me boost to hold on and fight it out.

She should be close to 60+ and she bore 4 children after 6 years of marriage with multiple infertility issues....miscarriages and PCOD

She was stating those days things are not so advanced, people were not the supportive and no knowledge of what was going on. She fought against all odds like in laws issues, joint family, comparison etc etc and finally WON.

She asked me just move on with life with a positive note coz we would never want our little babies to get this negative vibes of depression and disappointment....

Finally she ended up by saying wait for the miracle to happen with a "smile"

    Great feeling!!!!

I decided to keep smiling and wait for it.....God is Great.....

    hi bpositiv

    nice name

good to hear ur story. and keep the fight on.

regarding weight issues. these ttc yrs bring this package along i guess. i have been ttc for a lil over a yr now and have gained quite some weight myself. rightnow i am also awaiting my AF and will be going in for more tests if it doesn't come in next 2 days. and if this cycle doesn't bring in an news , i also have plans to jog and exercise and lose this extra fat that i have aquired over this last yr tring to eat right and not exercise too much.

so we can be weightloss buddies in the next cycle. u know they say u should tweet or write about what u have eaten in a day to all ur friend. that ways u're consious of what u eat and tend to control. so tr out some new ways.

being healthy and fit improves confidence and reduces stress. and that's how u should go abt it.

    lots of luck
    god bless
