need help to differentiate between forum, sub-forums, blogs, etc.

Can some one explain me about blog,contests forum and sub forum...i read in the Faq butstill confusing....in a tool bar new is there in that new post new thread ect are given what does that mean. i thought if we make new post or thread we need to start there....
Iam not able use the most of the feature of this site plz help me to explore more about this site.

Hi Neethu , the tool bar with new is for easy navigation of this site . It helps in finding the recent
things made here . As you can see , it enlists the new threads , new posts , new blog entries
& new blog comments which have been recently made on this site . This is a helpful feature for
the regular participants of this site .



Blog is a special place allotted to a member to share her (his) thoughts , views ... etc .

This site frequently runs different types of contests to encourage its members . The details are
provided on contests section . I've tried to clear your doubts and hope to see a more detailed
response by a staff member (/ moderator) of this site . please feel free to put any more doubts
