How can I start a poll?

Question: Is it possible for me to start a new poll or does the administrator retain the rights to start polls?

Reply: Yes, you can start your own polls as part of your message in the various sections you like. In each section, as part of your message you can post a poll – you will be able to see an option – 'include a poll question', while you have typed your message and do a preview of it.

If you are looking at starting a poll in the ‘weekly quick poll’ section, right now the access is with the site administrator only to keep it more organized.

We would request you to send the details about the poll ( a brief message about the reason for polling and the poll question) with the voting options. We would be very glad to post that as a weekly quick poll contributed by you from the admin’s id (IndusLady).

I want to start a poll. I did not find "include a poll question" while I was previewing the post. Are "post a poll" and "include a poll question" the same? Thanks!

I am trying to start a poll ..but I dont see the "include a poll question" when I preview.

I am not able to figure out how to write the options and make it as a poll..

I did check on "wish to inlcude poll and wrote how many options"..but still not able to find as to where I need to give the options??

Can you please guide me?

Hi Malathy,

I got it now...seems like when we "preview" the post, we need to enter the number of options in the box and press enter/Submit new thread..then we get to fill in the options before we post the new thread.
