How to add background images to your profile page?

To add a Background Image to your Profile page:

• Upload the background image ( that you wish to use) into your album. Make sure the album is Public or Profile.
• For illustration, please refer this page where i have uploaded the sun flower pictures into my album - Background Image - http://www.indusladies.com/forums/me...und-image.html - make a note that the album is "Profile", it could also be "Public" but cannot be "Private"
• In the customize profile page - http://www.indusladies.com/forums/pr...p?do=customize - under the box "Main" you can notice "Background Image" with this icon click on it and your image will show up.
• Double click the image and choose the option for "Repeat" and Save.
• Now you can see that my profile page has got the main background image as this sunflower picture.
• You can explore for the various block headers with a different or the same background image.

I am not able to add the image to the profile page. I followed the steps told by you. But in the customize profile page , under the box "Main" i do not see the "Background Image" with the icon . What could be this due to?? I have set the profile to public.

The message i get is "Background images must come from your albums. Enter the URL to a picture in one of your public or profile albums".

I do not understand what does entering the URL to a picture in one of my public album mean? Where should i enter the URL. I am really very confused. pls help me out asap..

I tried setting up the background by providing URL of a picture in my album in customize profile->main-> background image field as " http://www.indusladies.com/forums/me...-wallpaper.jpg" but it did not work for me. The album is public.


Getting error

• Main has invalid properties: Background Image

Please guide me.

URL of the picture is obtained by following this step:

• Go to your profile page.
• Click "Show All Albums" in the "Albums" box
• Click the picture which you want to add as background till you move to page "Picture 1 of 1 from Album <your album name>"
• In the above page notice a box "Picture URL" -copy that URL and use it in customize profile page here - http://www.indusladies.com/forums/pr...p?do=customize
• Point to remember is that the picture should be from a "Public / Profile" album, it cannot be from a "Private" album.

The link you seem to have given is not showing any picture, Can you try again with a valid link from this page of your album:

• Go to this page: http://www.indusladies.com/forums/me...wallpaper.html
• Copy the Picture URL in the above page.
• Use the URL in profile customization page - http://www.indusladies.com/forums/pr...p?do=customize

I am not getting my background image. I have tried all the steps mentioned by you and i think the background image should be displayed in the custom page, under main but i am not getting it. Any other way? Or what could be wrong?
