Yes, if a thread is rated by members, it is represented by yellow stars '*****' besides the thread title in the thread listing within the particular forum/sub-forum.

For example, visit this forum Ask Chitvish

Almost all the threads there are rated and you can see those yellow stars besides the thread titles in the thread listing.

When the ratings are not reflected, not sure how you figured out that they have received ratings? Please explain.

When I open the thread to read, I can see the ratings in the bar.

If you can give me an example of a thread, where you see the rating within the thread in the purple bar, but don't see it besides the thread title within the forum's listing. That will help to look into this issue further.

Under the thread

IndusLadies > Indusladies World > Indians in USA & Canada > General Discussions - USA & Canada - help - do you use US made blenders for idli batter?

there are now totally 5 pages. When I try to click on page 5, it still displays the contents of page 4. Meaning, it is not getting navigated to page 5...I am not able to view the last page.

Hope this can be rectified.

I am just wondering why I am unable to open the .jpg files in the posts?
It says I need special permissions to it.Could you please clarify the same.

Checking all of the threads listed above - I see the star ratings are shown besides the thread title in the respective forum listing, besides showing the star ratings within the thread in the purple bar.

You can see it yourself...for example:
Go to this link - New Member Area - IndusLadies - Listing threads within 'New Member Area' forum.
In the purple bar, do you see 'Rating'? Click on it and it will sort all rated threads on top. You will see New Member - Guide to Browsing also listed there with star ratings along with other rated threads.

Not sure if you meant display of star rating somewhere else. If yes, please be specific by providing links to the page where you are missing to see it.

Krithika,

You should be able to go to page 5 now. The post by prr in page 5 was originally auto-moderated from being displayed because it had external link (not allowed to be posted by a fairly new member). Since it was informational purpose we have made it to display.
