Krishnamma,

Post the glossary in different languages as separate threads. I have already mentioned the reasons for posting as separate threads - refer the above quoted message.

Now, I once again had to split Malayalam-English and Telugu-English glossary as separate threads. It becomes double work :icon_frown:.

If you plan to post in more language, kindly post glossary of each language as separate threads.

Malathy

Dear Malathy

Now-a-days, I am frequently encountering problems while posting in almost all threads. Especially today, I could not post even a single post in the evening. After clicking submit reply it is just hanging up displaying blank window. After trying so many times also it is the same problem. The problem is with our site only.

I could not open some threads also. Some error is coming. (Error:Host not accessible).

Is this problem only for me or is it common for everybody? Do need your help.

With regards
Varudhini

Hello IndusLady! I am a new member. I like your site, great job. I have a question - it may be silly, but I need to ask it anyway. I respect peoples feelings and their personal space, so I wanted to know, is this site 'exclusively' for women of East Indian descent? I am a Black American, and I am of African, Native American (or American Indian), and European descent (as far as I know). I am a firm believer that women of color should form stronger bonds, learn from one another, share issues, successes, defeats, and grow together. We should be closer than we are, especially since we share a variety of skin colors and often go through very similar experiences. We may find we are more similar than different. But, that was my question. I hope am I welcome. If not, let me know, I promise I won't be offended.

Thank you and God bless!

Hi Songbyrd,

Welcome to our wonderful community.

By getting a non-Indian person as a member,I think all of us will be benefitted,we can learn a lot from you and you can learn a lot from us.

I saw you are from Savannah,Georgia-Food Chef Paula Dean's place.Have you met her?I simply admire her.

Dear Malathy,

This is a long time doubt on my mind, hope you dont mistake me. I know that there can be only 10 moderators in any forum; but I really keep wondering how a moderator is selected. Just curiosity. I want to know how our moderators are selected.

Hats off and big bow to all out there.

Default Re: Ask Questions To IndusLady - How we choose our moderators?

Hi Rajmiarun,

This is our current thinking on how we go about choosing our moderators. We approach individuals to request whether they would like to be a moderator in our forum. Individuals can’t apply to become moderators.

In picking our moderators, we look for
 • Consistent and broad participation<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
 • A lengthy history of stable posting
 • A friendly, helpful and personable attitude and
 • Ability to spend reasonable amount of time in moderation and community-building
I'm not aware if there is any limit on the number of moderators in a forum. From where did you get this information that there can be only 10?

Malathy
