Dear Indusladies,
I would like to know why when i want go to the forum i will get this message "Internet explorer cannot open the Internet site http: indusladies....................
then next line "Opertion aborted" when i click ok then it will show me "Page cannot be display" then i click back arrow and get back to the messages. This happen everytime i want to lurk the next message. It also happens when in the same message and i want to go to the next page.

I would recommend you check your internet connection whether it is stable. From what you are telling it appears that you are loosing connection to the interent while browsing. Is this happening only when you connect to Indusladies? Or with other sites too?

Also what is the browser you are using? IE? Check whether you have cookies enabled?

2) Are there any other titles which are given to Ilit's ?
3) what is the criteria for confirming these titles to Ilits?
4) If number of posts are taken into account What type
of posts will be taken into account?
5) Are the number of posts made in connection with playing
Games cannot be taken into account to consider to award
these titles to members?
6) How posts are categorised into different groups?
7) is the decision for these willbe made by Moderators
or by Administration or both?

Here are the answers to your questions...

1) what are 'Silver Ilit","Gold Ilit","platinum Ilite" ?
These are the different statuses of members depending on their number of posts in the site based on their interactions. Refer the 1st post in this thread for more details - 'Elite' member statuses

2) Are there any other titles which are given to Ilit's ?
As of now no other titles are given other than the ones mentioned as elite statuses. Of course, there are titles like Administrators, Super Moderators and Moderators which are given to those helping in managing this site.

3) what is the criteria for confirming these titles to Ilits?
Refer this thread - 'Elite' member statuses

4) If number of posts are taken into account What type
of posts will be taken into account?
Any post made by the member to interact with other members in the site is taken into account.
Note: This does not mean one has to play games, post forward messages and jokes purely with the intention to increase their posts. Based on their interests to have fun, they can play games and share forward messages and jokes with their friends here.

5) Are the number of posts made in connection with playing
Games cannot be taken into account to consider to award
these titles to members?
As I mentioned above, all posts including those in the games forum and forward messages and jokes forum also add to to your total post count. But this does not mean we are asking (or encouraging) anyone to increase their number of posts by just playing games or posting forward messages and jokes.

6) How posts are categorised into different groups?
Posts are categorised only into forums depending on their subject topic. Otherwise, there is no separate categorisation, scoring, etc.

7) is the decision for these willbe made by Moderators
or by Administration or both?
The various elite statuses depending on the total number of posts were already discussed and decided by the Administrator and Site Moderators.

Quality Vs Quantity participation

Dear IL ites,

You may play games and post forward messages and jokes purely depending on your interests to have fun with your friends here. Do not do it for the sake of quickly increasing your quantity of posts.

While we came up with Elite statuses depending on the quantity of posts, our intention was to acknowledge the interaction that engages, educates and entertains themselves and other members here. As you all know, we acknowledge the quality of posts by running the finest posts contest every month.

I would like to reiterate by quoting something that I posted a few days back in another forum...

This allows me to clarify one more point regarding quality vs quantity of participation. I am hoping that members don't think of increasing the number of posts as an objective by itself. We want members to focus on participating and expressing themselves in a way that engages, educates and entertains themselves and others. There is no end goal here. In IL, just as in many walks of life, Journey IS the destination.
