Why my posts are not getting answered?

Dear Members,

We would like everyone to participate in this community by asking questions, posting responses to queries by another member, sharing information, exchanging ideas, giving suggestions/tips, etc.

With the membership growing and with number of posts/threads increasing everyday, there are chances that your post got missed to be seen by many. Our members here are very friendly, they welcome and respond to all genuine posts.

The best way to get more attention to your posts is by adding links to your posts in your signature.

I notice that whenever I post a new thread, it would come up in that Forum but it does not appear in "New Posts". Only after someone responds to it it will be under new posts.

Please indicate if I need to do anything else when posting a new thread.

We presume you are referring to the "New Posts" lists that is accessed from the menu New -> New Posts in the above purple menu bar.

Regarding appearing in the above said "New Posts" list, it lists all posts that are new to you since your last visit to the site. When you make a post(in an existing thread or you start a new thread) it is not a new one for you. Only when someone replies to it, that particular post is new for you until you see it and hence you see it appear in the new post list. Hope it's clear now.

It's clear now. Its fine since others are seeing it. I thought for some reason it was not appearing in "New posts".

Don't know how to check if anybody has replied to my Blogs or Posts.Sometimes i write too many.Isn't it possible to have a myindusladies or some such thing,where you click and have a glance at everything in a jiffy.This takes too much time or have I still to get a hang of things here?
