Default Healthy Skin Tips (Must Read!!!)

HEALTHY SKIN TIPS (Brought to you by VVF Ltd.)

The first step to a healthy glow is more about what goes in your body than on it. The most important thing you can do for your skin is to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water throughout the day. This maintains the balance in the skin keeping it fresh, supple and radiant. Avoid things that dehydrate you, such as caffeine and soft drinks. Alternatively drink green tea and fresh fruit juices. These are full of anti-oxidants, another secret to healthy skin. Alcohol may be the worst reason in dulling ones natural glow so try avoiding large quantities of the same. Eating a healthy nutritious diet and regular exercise also contributes to maintaining healthy skin.

Normal Skin
- Even healthy skin needs looking after to retain that natural beauty. Bathing and cleansing the skin at least once a day is extremely important. Moisturising and pampering the skin with good products nourishes, and restores the skin cells keeping them balanced, soft and taut. Shiff Soap contains the unique combination of moisturizers which pamper the skin, comes equipped with Active Germ Fighters that protect the skin from bacteria keeping the skin soft, velvety smooth and attractive.
Dry Skin
- Dry skin can cause itchiness and irritation which is aggravated during the winter season and also when exposed to direct sunlight. To tackle this skin type one must use a gentle cream based soap which is high in TFM (Total Fatty Matter). This re-hydrates the skin making it smooth, and additionally the high oil content within the soap acts as a lubricant throughout the day. Along with this one must keep the skin moisturized with a good body cream (not lotion) and Sun block is a must (preferably one for sensitive skin). A soap which is great for battling this skin type is: Doy Care Crème (A great smelling Cream based Soap, made with vegetable oils with a TFM content of 80%). An alternative to soap is a Shower ‘Gel’ which washes off leaving the natural body oils undamaged and intact.
Oily Skin
- Over productive sebaceous glands under the skin are responsible for creating larger pores leaving the skin greasy. This is aggravated by heat and pollution. For this skin type one must use a glycerin based soap which has the properties of rejuvenating the skin leaving it fresh and oil free. Also use oil-free based products thereafter like oil-free makeup on the face, and oil free moisturizers for the skin (body lotions are better to use than creams). Sun block is a must but should also be oil-free. Doy Care Aloe Vera, a glycerin based soap with the refreshing properties of Aloe Vera is ideal for this skin type. Aloe Vera has for centuries been very highly regarded across the world as a remarkable natural skin cleanser with healing properties that moisturize your skin and also revitalize it. Doy Care Aloe Vera with glycerin is a beautiful translucent green skincare soap containing genuine Aloe extracts which provide you with all the benefits of Aloe Vera, keeping your skin beautiful, fresh and glowing all around the year; be it spring, summer, monsoon, or winter.
Aging Skin
- Everyone would like flawless, baby soft skin. However, as time goes by, the environment and other factors, damage our skin casing wrinkles and blemishes. There are four major components that make up a successful anti-aging skin care routine: -A moisturizer that penetrates deeply into the skin will help reduce sunspots, fine lines and wrinkles. Some skin types may require a larger or smaller amount of moisturizer to produce the desired results. -Antioxidants that can stop the oxidation process will lead to diminish the visible effects of skin aging. –Sunscreen protects you from harmful UV rays and keeps your skin looking smooth and young. –Exfoliating the skin is helpful to renew and replenish the skin. A soap with glycerin like Doy Care Aloe Vera as mentioned above or Jo Herbal – a soap, complete with the goodness of Neem, Tulsi, Aloe Vera and Glycerin is ideal to keep the skin looking fresh and young.

The secret to healthy skin is simple. Maintain a healthy balanced lifestyle by incorporating plenty of water with a good wholesome diet, some amount of exercise and of course nourish and pamper you skin with the products it requires. This will no doubt result in glowing fresh and young skin all year round.
