Need help regarding chicken pox scars.

    Hi my four year old daughter has chicken pox and there is a number of pustules on her face. Can anybody tell me what to do for the scars? I had it when i was a teenager and cant tell you the horrors it did for my confidence levels. i dont want my daughter to be subjected to "oh what happened to her skin" remarks from others. she is fair and being a kid does not understand the hands off rule regarding the pustules. I am applying lactocalamine now...

    Hi friend,

    dont worry! the pustules will fall off and there wont be much of scars also after sometime. but anyhow, can try neemleaf and kasturi manjal mixture on scars. if you cant get the leaf, can use neemoil also.
    ah, can apply vitamin e oil also.

    Hi Smita,

    One thing i can suggest is,

    Boil neem leaves,strain and cool it.use that water as a face wash
    whenever she need to wash her face.

    Dont worry. These scars will go off in no time.

    Hi..Smita,
    For scars u apply honey it was the best remedy for chickenpox scars although it will take little more time....gradually scars will disappear as ur daughter age increases no worry...

    u can aplly franch oil on these marks. itoo had a sev chichen pox marks. this worker 4 me. do it reg:)

    Please try this.There is a product called AMUC (All purpose multy utility cream) Ayurvedic medicinal cream by CARE company.Its available in India. Apply to the affected areas at night on clean surfaces.wash off in the morning.Its good for all types of scars.
