How to get rid of chickenpox scar on the face

Can anyone suggest how to get rid of chickenpox scars on the face and on the body

since this has to be cured using natural incredients, i suggest this home remedy for the scars to disappear.

take 1 handful of curry leaves, 1 table spoon poppy seeds, a small piece of kasturi manjal (kasturi turmeric-available in shops). grind them to a paste. apply the paste before bath on the face everyday and wash. the scars will disappear gradually.

After I had chicken-pox, there were a lot of marks on my face. I drank a lot of water (two litres atleast) every day, and applied Lacto Calamine (natural). Actually, my complexion improved well after that. Vanaja's tip is also very good, since it is all natural.

I know few things that are used to remove the marks and prevent the scars.

Sandalwood oil can be applied on the affected area, but the treatment should be started the first day of appearance. Vitamin E oil also helps the scars from chicken pox to heal, and it can be used along with sandalwood oil. Those are natural ways of removing the scars, but I think you need some medicine. There is a fluid called Miracle Cure that can also help in removing the scars from chicken pox, you should consider trying it.

Dear Anju,

You cam also use tender neem leaves and kasturi manjal ( turmeric) powder. Dry up neem leaves and store the powder. You can mix it up with kasturi turmeric powder and use it daily as a scrub. Your marks will clear off in no time.
