For dark sin always try to use natural / sober colors (like light baby pink, light brown)..thats what i would suggest..dont go for too dark colors like red or chocolate brown etc...that would make us look worst....also try to look for easy apply ons which are water proof and not oily....always look for water based products that way they do less harm...
by the way if you want to check whether a lip stick will suit your face or skin...try to just apply it on your left hand a small stoke and see how it looks...you will get an idea..
