dry and dark skin

Hi all,
I have dark skin in my back shoulder it's makes me itchy and dry on that area only. I saw doctor, he offer me to apply some body lotion but it's not work out.please advice some home remedies for my problem.

did he confirm that its not any allergy? if its not any allergy might be you can try to massage your body with olive or coconut or almond oil daily, apply besan and haldi body wrap..and after it dries out have bath

apply moisturizer to your body after bath...

neem leaves have an antiseptic property..might be neem leaves powdero paste on the affected area..
