Some red rashes and red spots on face

Hi,

I am facing with some red rashes and spots on cheeks and forehead.How can i get rid of them.i observed these rashes since three days.

plz suggest me what to do.

Hi,
It may be due to dry skin problem called eczema. Use "Hydrocartisone" creame from CVS pharmacy.
Please check with your primary care if doesn't go.

Hi Seeta,

Since you have these rashes only for the past 3 days...it may due to change in the weather ...people tend to develop allergies during the onset of Spring.

I believe, another IL'ite had a similar problem for her baby.

And as I mentioned in that post, have you made any recent changes in your home, different dress materials, new bedding etc? Or have you changed your soap, lotions, moisturizers etc. Sometimes, allergies cannot have a particular source. They may have been triggered by any number of reasons.

Even a new change in environment might be a contributing factor.

I suggest you go to your doctor as soon as possible . The doctor will ask you the above questions...but may or may not be able to give you the exact source that triggered your rashes.

Don't worry.. sure the doc can sugges you some oral prescription or cream to apply directly.

A small request, please dont use any creams or medicines without consulting a physician...especially when it comes to skin infections. Each person may have different resistance and reactions to particular medications.

Sure, these will disappear as soon as you take the medications prescribed by the physician !

Thanks krithika for the information.i will see the doctor as soon as possible.by the way which mosturiser i have to use coz u get many brands available in market plz suggest some good moisturiser for face.

Hi Seeta,

There is also another thread for using the best moisturizer under General Discussion for USA & Canada.

But since you have these rashes now...I suggest it is better you consult you doctor before starting any new products...cos seems like your skin may be sensitive.

Cetaphil & Eucerin are good creams/lotions for sensitive skins since they are fragrance free and do not irritate the skin.
