Coconut oil and Turmeric for skin care?

Ladies,

I have heard that coconut oil has a healing effect and has good moisturizing property.

I would like to clarify my doubts on it.

1. Can coconut oil be massaged into face and left overnight?
2. Can it be used as a day moisturizer too? Will there be any side effects? I apply it when am at home, will there be still any side effects (sun rays and oil does it cause tanning)?
3. Will coconut oil get rid off dark spots, pigmentation and tanning?
4. Massaging coconut oil and turmeric and washing after few mins will help to clear out skin blemishes and even out skin?
