To be honest, I was never a Lakme fan, but I like the colors they play with.....perfect pallette for Indian tones...I love their nail range....I like Lakme for some unknown reason.....but seriously not a die-hard fan of it like Alpa...

Alpa is a very loyal Lakme fan, though....I tried their lip products in Vanilla and Cocoa....I liked the Vanilla better, but not the cocoa...it was heavy and waxy on lips and was bit sticky.....vanilla was really great and I enjoyed that on my lips...

I love LAKME because their shades are made to suit the indian skin and i have other brands as well but the colours you get in Lakme are excellent. I found Chambor very expensive but they are nice as well and Revlon too are good but Lakme has really nice different colours especially their 9 TO 5 range.

Hi Alpa,Divija thankd for the fb again.
Also am looking for buying a lip gloss or seomthing which is more liquidy kind for lips. Now I use revlon colorstay lip liner and streetwear lipstick.Both ate great but to get that glossy effect I have to use balm ,else its too dry.so which do you people think will be great? Colour is not a problem but which model?

Revlon colorstay lipsticks are good, i have use them, i have never used the revlon colorstay lip liner.

THe lip colors of revlon color stay are really nice, enjoy using them.

Try Colorstay Ultimate liquid lipstick. It also seems to have in-built conditioning top coat (for that sheeny shiny lips). It is also supposed to have a staying power of 12 long hours. If you are not comfortable with this, try Revlon super lustrous lipstick. They are really moisturizing.

I adviced you Revlon because I thought you are most comfortable with this. Why try something else when you have a loyal brand to stick on?

Wow!! divija i just finished replying for your bday bash thread, Thanks for the quick fb.I didnt need to change the brand here but wasnt aware of which one will gimme a such moistened effect in lipstick range.Will check out both and choose the one with suiting colour.
