| | How to pluck eyebrows HOW TO PLUCK EYEBROWS: 1. To avoid any redness or swelling, do this a day before. If doing it the same day then prefer doing it in the morning time as this way the puffiness and the redness caused has a chance to subside before you apply any makeup.

8. Before plucking, soften your eyebrows with a shaving cream or hair conditioner.

| | Re: How to pluck eyebrows HOW TO GET PERFECT EYEBROWS:
Be it a party, any special occasion or just the normal days, in order to look confident you need to groom your eyebrows. You would agree that properly groomed eyebrows really help you present yourself the way you want to. The very purpose of making up your eyebrows is to add a new definition and to create a beautiful frame to your face.
In order to achieve the best framing results for your brows, you will need three main tools:
1. Tweezers
2. Brow Brush
3. Brow Pencil Tweezers
Tweezers are used to tweeze any hair that obviously lie outside of your brow's natural shape and thus disturb it. You should begin by tweezing from underneath the brow and pull hairs in the direction they are growing. Your movements for tweezing should be in a sharp and swift movement. Make sure that you pull one hair at a time, alternating from one brow to the other. Doing so will not only eliminate over tweezing but also get you a more balanced look. Brow brush
Brow brush is used to brush your eyebrows into shape. You should always brush your eyebrows hair upwards. So make sure that you work upward and outward to give your brow a new definition. You can also spray brush with hair spray to keep the hair up. In order to get that groomed look you should coat the hair with clear mascara. And if you want that dramatic look then you should coat your hair with dark mascara. Brow Pencil
Brow pencils are used to fill in those unwanted gaps in your eyebrows if there is any. With the help of an eyebrow pencil you should apply the light feathery strokes in order to draw in each hair. Begin at the bottom of your hair follicle and draw upward following the hair direction. Then brush with the Brow brush to blend in the eyebrow pencil, again working upward and outward.

| | Re: How to pluck eyebrows EYEBROW TWEEZING: If there is any confusion regarding the perfect shape of your brows then go for tweezing as over-plucking can mean those lost hairs may never grow back. These can subtleties make a great difference. Tweezing - Use an eyebrow pencil or a concealer to mark that perfect shape of your brows
- Then tweeze the hair outside this area. Start with taking a few hair from one brow and then from the other.
- You should soothe with your toner or witch hazel to close the pores.
- You can make it almost pain free by tweezing them after taking a shower, a facial or after steaming your face.
- You should tweeze at least thirty minutes before you start applying make-up.
Accurate Tweezing
You should develop the habit of checking your brows periodically in order to maintain the perfect shape of your brows. You should tweeze few hairs from one brow and then from the other so that they remain symmetrical. - Firstly brush the hair in the direction of hair growth.
- Then isolate the hair you are about to tweeze.
- Always tweeze in the direction of hair growth.
- You should pull one hair at a time.
- Make sure that you pull gently and smoothly, making sure not to yank.
- Remember that it is better to tweeze too little than too much.
Eyebrow Tips - Well-groomed brows can help your eyes look larger as well as more expressive.
- You should fill the brow in with an eye shadow powder and eyebrow brush.
- While choosing a shade it is best to choose the shade that matches your hair color.
- You should apply the shade with a small, hard brush that is flat and angled at the tip.
- You should apply the shadow first to the most populated area of the brow to avoid laying down too much color.
- Then finally you should finish by combing the brows with a toothbrush.
- If you find that too much color is applied then you can soften it by applying a bit of loose face powder in your correct shade with a powder puff.
- It is a fact that individual brow shapes differ, therefore you should accordingly tweeze from below the brow.

| | Re: How to pluck eyebrows EYEBROWS AND FACE SHAPES: High Forehead: Take out only one or two hairs as the arch should only be slightly elevated. Low Forehead:
You should keep the arch of your eyebrow low so leave in one or two extra hairs. A Round Face:
You should arch your brows slightly higher as it gives the illusion of more length; take out three or four extra hairs. Edge Arched eyebrows provides the round face with the required little sharpness. A Long Face:
Keep the arch low as it helps in giving an illusion of more width to the face. The style is similar to one used in the low forehead case. Close Set Eyes:
You should tweeze a few more extra hairs at the beginning of the brow as it helps to create more space. Wide Set Eyes:
You should avoid plucking extra hair. Instead you should leave in a couple hairs at the beginning of the brow to create less space. Oval faces:
Any shape suits well on the person with this face cut but curved eyebrows look exceptional. Square and Rectangle Face:
Square and rectangle shaped faces do well with round eyebrows just as well. Round shaped eyebrows have a softer more innocent look.

| | Re: How to pluck eyebrows HOW TO SHAPE EYEBROWS: How Maintain Natural Eyebrow Shape - Quickly brush your brows into place, so you can see the natural shape.
- Then pluck one hair at a time, in the direction of growth.
- First remove the hairs between your brows, and then weed out the under eye area.
- Tweeze any stray hairs at the outer sides.
- As a general rule, don't pluck above the eyebrow area or you will risk distorting the shape of your brows. The only exception if there are hairs growing well above the natural bowline.
Eyebrow Tips - Always be careful about the distance between the brows and their length.
- Always remember to pluck your eyebrows in between.
- Don't pluck the top of the brow as it may become fuzzy.
- Go to a professional if you are plucking your eyebrows for the first time.
- Have a facialist wax your brows if they are messy on top.
- An elongated, clean and simple brow gives the most elegant look.

| | Re: How to pluck eyebrows EYEBROW CARE: Getting a pair of beautiful eyebrows is one of the most useful makeup tricks on the planet. . The eyebrows make an important impression. They frame the eye and give the face a polished look. It is well worth making the effort to get the eyebrows looking right. Natural eyebrows - Comb through your eyebrows with a brush to flick away any powder or foundation.
- Comb the hairs upward and outwards giving you a wide-eyed look.
- Then slightly slick them with clear gel to hold the shape in place.
Spotty Or Sparse Brows
1. Use an angled eye shadow brush to press a bit of eye shadow to the brow (medium or dark brown for brunettes, charcoal for silver or gray hair, taupe for blondes or redheads).
2. Follow the direction of the brow and extend the brushed-on shadow to the edge of the eye.
3. Pat a tissue on top to blot up any excess. Thin Brows - Pencil your eyebrows slightly thicker though it's difficult to make this look natural.
- Now take an eye pencil under the brow and follow the brow line out to the edge of the eye.
- Use powder sponge to gently press some powder on top to soften the line.
- Then use a brush to lightly fill it in with shadow.
Straggly Eyebrows - Try tidying your brows with regular tweezing sessions.
- The ideal time after a bath, when your pores will be open from the heat, so the hairs will be easier to remove.
- Before bedtime is also a good idea, as you don't have to face the day with reddened skin.
- Eyebrow Color
- You may use eyebrow powder or pencil to define your brows
- Apply powder, with an eyebrow brush and dust it through your brows. Take extra care not to sweep it onto the surrounding skin. This helps in giving your brows a natural effect, and requires little blending.
- You may also use a well-sharpened pencil. Taking care not to press too hard, draw on tiny strokes otherwise the finished effect will be unnatural. Now soften the lines you have made with the eye pencil by lightly stroking a clean cotton bud through your brows.
