Cool Mascara tips and tricks

MASCARA TIPS AND TRICKS:
  • To give that longer and thicker look to your lashes you should apply 2-3 coats of mascara. And of course let the mascara completely dry between each coat.
  • Allow the first coat to dry before applying the second in an effort to prevent clumping.
  • If you want even longer looking lashes then carefully insert clean lashes into eyelash curler. And apply pressure in light little squeezes along the length of lashes and after that apply the mascara.
  • You should apply a good amount of excess powder so that when you are finished applying mascara, you can dust off the excess and the droppings that landed there.
  • No matter which mascara suits you best, remember to pair it with a pretty shadow and eyeliner if you so desire.
  • Make sure that you replace the mascara every three months.
  • If you have dark circles then you should avoid using colored mascara on the lower lashes.
  • You should wash old mascara brushes completely, which could be used as a brow tamer or to separate eyelashes before and after application of mascara.
  • You should wiggle the wand slightly from side to side as you apply the mascara.
  • For the under eye circles you should avoid pencil and shadow shades with blue or blue undertones.
  • If you are about to apply new mascara and the deposit on the wand is plentiful then you should tissue off the wand before applying to prevent smudging.
  • If some of the mascara accidentally brushes onto your eyelids or underneath, simply use a Q-tip to remove it.
  • If you want to have more quantity of product on the mascara brush then try twirling the brush. Pumping it will cause the product to dry out sooner.
  • You should try experimenting with different colors of mascara like brown, navy blue or green etc.
  • You should always use less mascara on your lower lashes.
  • If your mascara thickens when it reaches the end of tube then you should place the tube in warm water. This will help in making the mascara thinner.
  • Never add water to the tube as it may cause bacteria form there.
  • To prevent smudges on your pillows and bits of makeup irritating your eyes overnight, remember to remove mascara and other makeup with a gentle cleanser before bed.

Hi Akhi,
Thanks for dropping in.
Yes water proof products are available. Check out in health and glow. I use only lakme eyeliner (not water proof) Because it looks water proof eye liner artificial. So I dont prefer it.
