How To Apply Mascara

Applying Mascara



Every type of eyes requires mascara. It is used to darken, lengthen and thicken your eyelashes.Don’t apply mascara before curling your eyelashes, as this can cause lashes to stick to the curler, or to become brittle and break.

ColourBlack mascara generally suits most women.

For a softer look prefer dark brown
Brown for daytime and black for evening is a good promise.

Different colours – such as green, purple or blue – tend to go in and out of fashion, and are probably best left for nights out (or for the very confident).

Apply

With your wand apply mascara to the base of your lashes.

(If necessary, clean off excess bits of mascara with a tissue first to stop them clogging.)




Max-Up
Max-up your mascara by rubbing the wand first from side to side at the roots, then brush outwards so that the lashes fan out more.





Comb

Finally, if they're a bit clumpy separate lashes with a lash comb.



Tip
Apply mascara in layers and allow to dry in between applications.

Thanks for sharing it... But I feel the muscara goes away in few hours making my eyes and the areas around the eyes darker... Is there any brand that you know which will not be like that.. I used Lakme and Eyetex and faced the same problems...

Hi Vidya,

I am using the same brand(Lakme) and I dont face any such problem... Its perfect untill I wash my face...

nice one with pictures. makes it more explainatory. but i generally dont use mascara as it gives my eyes a over done appearance.
do you think people with big eyes need to apply mascara?? or is there a different technique for ppl with big eyes and ppl with small eyes?

do throw some light on this too
