some floating spots in eye

hi

i had pain and discomfort in my right eye few months ago. it was treated with eye drops and felt better. but now a days i see a dark spots where ever i see and also cannot bear the irritation to light. some kind of glaring is also felt.

can any body suggest me any home remedy to it.

these spots are called floaters and they may cause damage to the retina,i have a few in my right and that is why i know about this ,and i go to the doc for a periodical check up , there is no home remedy for this and with out any further hesitation visit an eye
doctor at the earliest

Please visit an opthalmologist as soon as poosible to rule out glaucoma.
Check for diabetes too. Never ever try to treat eye problems on your own please!!

Apricots are good for eyes........I too have poor eyesight and am taking almonds and dried apricots daily.

keep me posted after you consult your eye doctor. It is always better to rule out any doubts.

Go and get it checked immediately esp if you find it getting worse. My husband used to complain of them so we went and go it checked only to be shocked with a torn and detached retina. We flew to india overnight and thankfully all is well now after surgery. The surgeon told us the floaters are the first sign of trouble with the retina so go get it checked.

hey kindly visit a doctor.. its ur eye, the most sensible part.. dont try ur hand on it.. better visit a doctor asap...

i consulted the doctor and after thorough check up by God's grace there is no serious problem found.

but however i have been asked to get the eye check up done every 6 months.

Good news Annu. Mark in your calendar and go for eye checkups regularly!!

But I am just curious to know what caused your problem and is it gone now?
