Hi,

Yes, there were lot of pre-operative tests done to see my eye was fit enough for the surgery.I don't know the doctor's criteria for determining the fitness of the eye for operation.As I had mentioned earlier, I had very little power(myopia) and no other corrections. I don't know about the age limit and power limit for this.I was in early twenties at the time of surgery.

Hi

My father has to undergo the cataract operation sometime within next 2 weeks. He is planning to go for laser treatment. Can any of you tell me if it is safe? Does it pain? How long does it take to cure?

I have done lasik laser 3 years ago in Trichy, Agarwal Hospital.it cost about 25000.
