We have rented a room to indian girl, she is north indian , i am a southindian.

Regarding me i use to offer food initially couple of times, i didn't expect anything from her, but when they cook different food, she never offered. After i offer couple of times she offeres once.
How should one be with the people in shared accomodations, i feel if i am attached, they may take things granted, so i like to be like hi and how are you .
Do we have to tell each and every time we go out to this people, like birthday party, a day outetc,.
IF we go out for one night or so do we have to tell them.
Also do we have to know when they go out for one or two days, but if they don't tell, we can't ask.
One more thing , to the accepted aggreement, if this person brings there sister or someone for oneday or two day without informing , how should i react.

9 months taruvatha: yela cheppalo teledam ledhu! i got c-section and yeppudo madhyalo melukava vachi ammani adigithe tesukochi chupinchindhi. oh, god! chinna chinna pedalu, chinna noru, mukku etc
mattu ga vunna kuda daggariki tesukuni oka chinna mudhu ichanu. maa dh ayithe thanani oka chinna pillow meedha paduko petti yettukone vaaru. antha chinna papa ni yetthukovadam bayam anipinchedhi thanaki:-).

now she is 15 year old girl ! its amazing kids are growing so fast.

Do YOU recognise that??? sometimes I feel like that "Iam selfish" for some situations that may be silly or serious...depends upon my mood or anything....!!!
Am I just being selfish.....?? I keep thinking and the answer is :yes: always.............!! selfish is “always doing things for ones own happiness”......I will be selfish to make my self happy....:-)Sometimes selfishness leads to achive things in life but sometimes it wont make us happy....!!!

I know this question sounds rude. My "happily- married- with- no- kids" friend asked to me lately and till now I did not find a convincing reply, hence I am asking here it in IL.
Her question to me was "Honestly, tell me why did you decide to go for a kid"?
1. Did you want a photocopy of yourself?
2. Did you think you need someone to take care of you in your old age?
3. Are you too fond of kids?
4. Did you and your DH got bored with each other?
5. Just you had kids because it was expected out of married couples?

My answer would be
1. No, I definetely don't want my kid to be like me. I hope my LO become much better and stronger and prettier than me.
2. I am practical enough to understand that such expectation(LO's taking care in old age) will only remain an expectation. Most likely me and DH will be some retirement homes.
3. I am not too fond of kids. I like kids, but so far no kids have inspired me to have kids.
4. Oh.. J & I had such a great time before Chinnu was born. Sleeping late, waking late, movies, last minute travel plans, night cap's..it was such a fun just being two.
Then why did I have kid?
Most probably my answer would be 5.
I had kid because I never thought I shouldn't have. It never crossed my mind. With no expectation of reward, I am putting my energy to raise my LO to be a good and compassionate human being. It is such a pleasure to see her grow but no words or reasons could explain it.
Do share with me your honest thoughts on this.
