The demand for aavin butter is increasing day-b-day..Read few articles too regarding this issue...Govt are taking necessary measures to settle down it-seems..

Meanwhile thought of asking you people about it..

Our's is a big family...For few routine dishes we are in need of ghee regularly like Pongal,Briyani,Kurma..Also there is a kid @ home...So things are self-explanatory

We are not comfortable in store-brought ghee ... by all means-> health, taste and cost

So we always go for fresh butter and make ghee out of it...that too "Aavin butter"

For the past 5-6 months almost all big cities are facing problem in getting them

We are put-up near ashok nagar so we used to egt in saidapet aavin depot..but now-a-days it is not that an easy task..inspite of me reminding him everyday he is not able to save a single packet(500 gm)..He says a big q stands before the van arrives so i cannot save for you :thumbsdown..Even if i accept to pay him in adavance he denies :hide:

That is the nearest depot for us..otherwise i'll have to go to kaasi theatre (near rajaveni poli store)..there too the same story..

few months back a depot was there near tidel..happily i got from whenever i get back from office..unfortunately that depot has been closed :bonk

I'm going mad..My MIL is kind of :drowning without ghee and butter

How do you face this??

Don't you all depend on it???

Any other depots on the way from velachery to saidapet or tahramani to saidapet???
