My name is Pooja and this is my second post in IndusLadies. It was some time back when i started searching for my Daughter's School Admission that i ended up with this wonderful site. I am really amazed and feeling really good about being here, which is why i thought of talking with you thoughtful people about my dilemma.

My daughter is right now close to 1 year and 10 months , we had planned to put in Pre-KG in the following academic year 2010-2011 in a good CBSE School. When i started the hunt did i come to know that not many of the good CBSE schools take kids less than 2 .6 years (as on June 1st 2010) for Pre-kg. My Daughter would be 2 years and 5 months only by 22nd June 2010. so she is not able to get in to many of the schools this year. Only 3 schools (i mite have missed a few too) of 10 -11 schools namely Chettinad vidyashram , Balavidya mandir and SBOA take Kids who complete 2 year by march 2010 in to consideration for pre-kg for 2010-2011 Batch.


Now my concern is if i get admission in any of the 3 schools, would it do good for my daughter to be in to pre-Kg as early as 2 years and 4 months.
These schools are quite far away from where i stay rite now. So i would have to shift near these schools just for this sake . There are many good schools near my area (K.k.nagar) which would not admit my child this year(2010-2011) but will consider her next year(2011-2012), but if i wait and get her admitted in wouldnt she be losing a year .

Can mom of kids who have enrolled their child in to pre-kg at about 3year and 5months guide me please. Am so Confused. My husband wants to enroll her this year, but the schools options are less and i am not much for shifting becos we mite not even get the seat later.
Would putting her in Pre-KG at around 3 year and 5 months(Which is close to 3 1/2 years:( ) be of any problem now or in future.??? Is it not too delayed ? Normally aren't the kids into LKG around 3 and 1/2 years?

I know, i am eligible for B.Ed. Today more private Institutes are available. Its only in Regular and One Year.
