Thanks so much for compiling this information. Am desperately in need of this stuff...this is a great list, do pl keep us informed of any updates on this information. I'm interested particularly in Vadapalani, Kodambakkam,Virugambakkam area.

Also any idea where such summer camps, classes (for 8 yr olds) are advertised ?

Just keep track of the hindu, metro plus and the young world, they come out with all the details..most of the details that i have given here are based on those plus what i get to know.

summer classes will be announced by march..but in my kids school since they close in march end...summer classes have been announced.

Today there are lot of summer classes to choose from from adventure, to mild coloring..will keep you informed when i see something..

And there were lot of summer camps in the areas you mentioned the previous years...

Dear athmaindu,

Check out the green park hotel,vadapalani. they conduct camps. if they have regular swimming classes.

Nice idea of pooliing. my kids have swimming lessons at school.
