    Hey IL's

    This is a Tussor kalamkari saree. i wanted to add some additional work which transforms it to designer work saree. i want it to be grand, eye-catching, subtle,still simple not too flashy and gaudy. Can you folks come out with some nice designs and color combination. please help meeeeee

    I guess you could put some stone work or kundan work on to flowers and some jari thread work...would make it a designer saree...

    very nice saree. You can embellish with simple running stitch along the border of the design with gold thread, and use chamkis after every six to eight stitches to give it extra shine. the outlining can be done for the flowers and the centre design. :my2cents All the best.     u can make mild chumki work on it and mild aari work to highlight the print
