Embroidery : Looped Blanket Stitch

    Hello,

    Happened to see this stitch in the net.Lakshmi's net work is a beauty to see and i am trying to get the perfect finish by referring to her work.In the mean time,Lakshmi can you please try this method in a circle as illustrated and post the same[sampler] for us to follow you.

    We will keep this pictue for guidance but to see the stitch finished ,would like to see your Sampler.PLEASE.THANK YOU.

    wht are ur next stitches..i've used all the stitches in my embroidery what shobhana07 has given ...seems u have broesed alott on embroidery...:)
    so its very helpful if u post more stitches....

    Good try.Mine was Bad.Aparna will not load it,so no uploads of this work.Your PDF is great.I think the same method has been used to make such close Blanket[preferably in two shades]to get the required effect.I am sure by next week one sample will be uploaded by you.
    Shobana has posted on raised chain stitch band in the morning.Check that out.A excellent stitch line for Borders or even in a pattern that has parallel lines.Let me know your idea in that post.

    hi jayashree,
    i too like raised chain bands ..n applied on my embroidery projects..usually i use this stitch for neck lines..u can see it in my thread where i've posted only knot works..i've done on a cotton dress...lavangam work...

    Webing for a stitch.I will look for the thread you mentioned[from profile,easier]It is actually very cute.I may have to use pearl cotton thread single strand than the regular skein one?
