Embroidery : Kantha Work with Chamkis on Chiffon Saree

    :)Hello,

    Sorry for the delay......

    Long time work that took me 5 months to complete.Kantha work with chamkis,2,5 mtrs of all over design worked,with border running almost 10mtrs[pallu width included].

    I have done crochet using silver metal thread to give a drape to the pallu using plastic drops in light pink and white.

    The colour[peach] of the saree is little lighter than the photo finish as it was taken in the room light conditions.
    The blouse has a border in the sleeves,kept simple.[not posted]

    Please do give a opinion on the work and how much can be improved.

    This incidently happens to be my daughters[Aparna] first saree to be worn for her Farewell next month.:exactly:

    Super saree.Your daughter is so lucky.i feel jealous of her.Can you post clear close-up shots and also if possilble the designs too.I am eager to see the blouse also.

    A big thanks :bowdownfortheresponse.Kavikrishnan,vijikrishnan,smitha,nags,ash,vasthraa......Its like appearing for a exam waiting for the results.

    I have tried to take a close up but due to the shine in the work the digital is blurring the effect.I will keep trying and the best clear pic will be uploaded.The blouse is quiet simple,will post the same,as aparna wanted not too designer effect.
    Vasthraas post on designer blouse was seen after the blouse was done....aparna is sort of regretting for not having done a mind blowing pattern!Next Time.......
