can we try kasuti on cross stitch cloth ?.

I am in US so dont know what material to buy for this

Hi Gayathri,

Matty cloth is cross stitch cloth also called AIDA matty in the US and kasuthi is practiced on that initially

Sorry to have bothered you earlier.I did figure out how to do the inner design and did the embroidery finally.I'm almost done with my salwar and will post it very soon.Again thanks for all your help.

Hi Sangeeta,

Your work is very neat and you have grasped the basics very well. But my suggestion is that while the orange is fine you could have used ecru/ cream or white instead of the dark blue. That would have high lighted the intricate design.
