Hello Ladies,

Does anyone there know how to remove the design on the dress put in the shop to do hand embroidery?

I just want to remove some parts of the design. As I think it did not suit the whole design.

question not clear actually ... is the handemb already done in the shop or it is another design that u wanna remove to do hand emb ...

if u want to remove the hand emb design ... use those small cutters and cut them carefully so as to not damage the other threads .. and immediately use fabric glue at the cut places so the thread doesnt come off ..

but if it is something else u ask .. plz explain it .. hopefully u get many more replies ... and hope this helps

Hi I can suggest one thing you can do aplique work on the unwanted designs,and do some hand emb on that,.

Hi souin257...
U r trying to mean that u wanna to remove the trace at a few places in d saree..and work the rest..
If im right.... den u can try any of these ..
First. Complete the area in which you want to do embroidery
Then u can just remove the trace jus by washing.. or if it is traced with carbon..u can reverse iron it..
Just revert back if u still ve problem...

That is what I meant. I tried all the above mentioned methods. But was not successful in removing it. Any other ideas ladies.

Hi Souin you can try this dip cotton cloth of white colour or cotton in little kerosene and rub on the designs then wash the saree using detergent powder,.

Hi Souin,

Cut the lemon into two and try rubbing it on the designs which u want to remove.. then wash with detergent...
Note: Rubbing the Lemon should be done on the dry cloth... dont wet the cloth....
