    hi,

ever got annoyed about a saree blouse stitched long back doesn't fit now and wish the blouse could fit you all the times instead of urself not watching ur weight!!

yes i too have imagined myself in such situations though such situations have not yet come for me...!! ;) ;)

i actually wanted to gift something different for my friend's wedding and that too as a surprise...me and another friend bought saree for that girl and i wanted to stitch her a blouse without knowing measurements!!!...stitching a blouse without measurements and that too should fit!!

yes i did that finally...its the magic blouse according to me...blouse with elastic to fit you every time you wear it and need not have to bother about altering!!!

may be many of them know this...but according to me(an intermediate self learner in stitching) was a magic to gift it to my dear friend :) :)

this was the blouse i made for her and if anyone is interested i would post the method i stitched it :) :)

i should definitely mention this...i got this idea from this blog...all credits of stitching this blouse goes to the owner of this blog..

Super ya. We make silk blouses very grand. In due course we put on weight and won't wear those grand one. This idea will help to retain our blouse for years

thank you...am not sure abt using elastic over heavy embroidery work...bcoz the blouse will be stretchable na..anyway small patchworks can definitely be done...

    Cheers,

    Very nice Op:thumbsup

Have you thought of putting elastic on the sides for blouses with elaborate backs....?
This elastic would be hidden under the arms most times.
