    The video is very good and I was amazed at the speed with which you were doing the embroidery. No wonder you have created so many wonders of this art. My fingers are itching to try this now. I will post the pic today once I try out and get it. In the video I was slightly confused of the point 3 that you mention. ANyways let me try and clear the doubts from you. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Lakshmi,

    Here is a sampler of the Chemanthi stitch that I have done after repeatedly watching your video. Please have a look and let me know if I have got it correct. I was also trying the one given in Deepa's blog. Is that different from what you have done because I found there was some difference in the way it looks. Please clarify.

    hisunita congrats..u got both the stitches correct..hmm speed u can pick up by practice..since its my favourite stitch n done many projects i can stitch with ease..thts all

    happy to see ur posts..my efforts didnt go waste...

    Hi Lakshmi,

    Thank you so much. You know how elated I am to hear those words from the "Guru". Yeah, I need to pick up speed. Will do that as I start using embroidery more and more. I am currently concentrating on sewing and so not much time spared for embroidery.

    happy that u r learning sewing ....its best option especially if u have girl child...my wish to learn sewing is long pending...

    Thanks a ton for this wonderful effort taken by you. I too have the same doubt as Sunitha. My teacher taught me the way Deepa has described in her bolg... it looks like herringbone at bottom and cretan on top. Yours looks different. I have no cribs since I have learnt a nice looking variation from you. Thanks, thanks a lot! Thanks to your son too , for pitching in during exam times...
