anybody preparing for certifications??

Hi all

anybody here preparing for certifications staying at home?? Pl share ur feelings as to how u feel studyin at home..am married and n the US rt now on H4:( am preparing for my certification now and sometimes i dont hv mood to learn..hw abt u guys??

I did 2 of my certfications at home .Its a little bit challenging .Make a timesheet for u and put it in place where u can see it everyay like the refrigerator and then tick it whenever ur achieved the time line and set a deadline for evry chapter .I use to allocate everday from 11:00 to 2:00 as my study time and that time no phone calls and chats and sometimes I use to wlak to a library or near by park to conecntrate .These worked form me and landed me in jpb after 6 yrs on H4

hey thnks a lot for tht reply and sry for ma late response..now i hv gained confidence and preparing for my cert evryday frm 1-4..now i am v scared abt getting my H1..coz its now a lot system so getting a H1 all depends on your luck right:( my hubby however keeps boosting me but evn then i am worried..

Nitjoe , nice to hear that you are preparing your certifications and not languishing.I find it very difficult to study any prescribed course outside the college atmosphere.

Don't lose hope on the H1.I am sure things are gonna work out well for you..all the best and just be postitive.

I am currently preparing for my CCENT certification that s actually based on networking..if u have interest in this field u can go ahead with this..thre are so many levels in this and the more u write the more scope u hv..wish u all the best!!

hey thnk u so much Sabitha...studying outside the college atmosphere is really tough..i agree...but getting a gud college is tough as well!!
