Would depend on a few things such as duration of course, reputation of course provider, do you end course with some material you can use as portfolio. Ideal would be if they provide some help with placement beyond resume editing and interview tips or mock interviews.

Generally speaking, when trying to get a foot in the door, anything that will help you land the first job/contract is worth it.

If you feel comfortable sharing more specifics such as name of institute/provider, course name, and perhaps location, you may get more feedback.

Good Luck. The first step is the hardest. After that, all has a compounding effect - you build on what is existing - in skills and experience.

Do one thing there is one famous institute in Hyderabad(mindq) , they do conduct online classes but they charge a bit on the higher side but its totally worth. For placement assistance you need to search with the help of your local consultant...
