Hi, this website will help you learn about specific majors, requirements for majors, major preparation at community colleges, and transferring courses to the University of California or California State University.

Hi Deepshika,
My advice would be to think carefully about what kind of job you really want to do. Once you get to the States you will have a range of options, but if you study something you love you will at least have motivation and satisfaction for your course. There is nothing worse than studying a subject you hate for several years and then at the end finding out that the economy and job market have shifted and there is no longer the same demand for workers that you had hoped for.
Best of luck with whatever you choose to study. In favour of nursing, I worked in a hospital closely with nurses in Sydney, Australia. They were a lot of fun to work with and very nice people. They also had the opportunity to travel to most developed countries in the world where there is a shortage of nurses and get to help people and make a positive difference everyday.
