We need an answer for the 'who are we' puzzle. Did you look at the solution I posted? When you post the solution, could you add a spoiler warning followed by some white space as requested by Sandhya?
Ha, ha, 'oscillations' was a very 'technical' choice of clue - tinfoil hat firmly on head, I set out in search of Hertz, Helmholtz, Marconi, Fourier, Young & Fresnel ...... I might have opted for 'vibrato' or some such ... paired with 'une souvenir indelibele' perhaps? (Yes, yes, I know --- artistic license baby!) My all-time favorite is the one by E.G and A.N, Baden-Baden (2007)! Along with RF's exhortations to another element of the (not so) 'briny profusion'!
OK, busy tomorrow, so while we wait for Gauri to quench the neurons devoted to this round, here's my ritaliation for one of the earlier quizzes that I failed to get. Task: Fill in the blank. Difficulty level: Trivial (once you get past the "Oooh, the clue is in a language I don't know, WT@!" barrier). I assure you, my knowledge is zero as well, assuming 'Vesti la giubba' and 'Libiamo ne' lieti calici' don't count! Un Pezzo di Lui Una poesia di ____________ Chi? Salvatore? Ehi! Tu! Si, tu! Io sono Il Magnifico! Pensare una volta, Pensare due volte, Prima di afferrare, Per un pezzo di me!
I am at Jean de la Fontaine, connect to a man with goggles, retracing, hmm Robert Capa, okay back with chalk. And I am tempted to edge with Tom Cruise if that serves a clue or an innocuous typo. I have a feeling this puzzle is nothing but what it seems to be! I am thinking too much into this line, if the meta data associated with this line is actually the clue, need a break
That is stale now so I might as well reveal the answer — "Clovis Culture" as Gauri identified correctly and do I have to add anything more as she deciphered accurately each and every clue.
Not a typo, not much of a clue! Hmmm - I changed my mind - could be a 'clue' if you consider my intentions / psychology .... indirect.
Is this even the right direction to travel? Hey! You! Yes, you! I'm The Magnificent! Think once, Think twice, Before grabbing, For a piece of me!
I don't think I will get this, I know I am completely off track here, missing something essential! :shaking: Catch you all later! No vara pumps here only high street soles
I'm afraid that level of subtlety is a little bit above my skill set. I was just glad I got those two lines to rhyme as well as they did. Had not heard the A.N. version until you mentioned it. I personally prefer D JS's version with MH. There's another that I'll link once the official answer is posted.
