i will be undergoing a planned c section on 3rd of dec.baby is head down and weighs approx 2 kg.i exactly have a month to go and am pretty excited/tensed...

Hi Ladies,

My Updates- Had my 36 weeks antenatals last week with MW.She said baby is 4/5 engaged. My tummy hasn't gone down yet.Every thing else looked fine.

I also had a GP appointment last week to discuss blood tests. The results of my liver test for itching came back as normal. They are not sure what causes this whole body itching for me.Scars are very little on tummy. so they have ruled out possibility of pupps or obstetric cholestasis.

I have been given a cream that contains steroids to apply on areas where itching is more. I can only use it twice a day but it doesnt work for me. When applied I have relief for half n hour. Then again itching starts. Need to check with GP this week on this. Apart from all this, sleep disturbances due to itching is the only problem.

Next week have 38 weeks appointment. Getting nervous as I get nearer to my due date. Have packed labour bag. Just need to order today for crib and pushchair. Else everything set. Will post my updates next week again.

Hi Ramya,
Its my second baby and my first was a c section.I had an option to go for VBAC.However, I voted against it and decided to have a planned c section.I of course had a detailed discussion with my gyneac about the pros and cons of VBAC and I know i have made a conscious decision.

I shopped for all baby stuff yesterday.I bought half of pink and half blue stuff For my first my DH had done the shopping post birth..so he was lucky to have all blue..
