| You have to calculate your weeks from your LMP and it doesn't change just 'coz you may have your baby earlier. Most often ob gives a range from 2 weeks before up to 2 weeks after your EDD - so the best way will be to bring your mom 2 weeks prior to your EDD that way even if you don't deliver earlier you can still use her support and help during the last couple of weeks. | Lavanya is right. A "normal" term baby is anything from 38 to 42 weeks of pregnancy. So it would be best to get your mom atleast 2 weeks before due date to be on the safe side. Many first-time moms do go beyond due date though. Vanathi. |
