Karibu (WELCOME TO) Zanzibar !!!!!

Dear all.

Herewith posting some snaps taken by me and my husband when we were in Zanzibar.
Zanzibar is a Coral Island surrounded by Coral Reefs.
It is a semi-autonomous region of Tanzania in East Africa.

Picture 1 - Giant tortoises in Prison Island - a tourist spot.

Picture 2 - The oldest tortoise in the Island - more than 100 years old.

Very nice close shot. Tortoise looks really big......... Expecting you to post some more snaps of an island.

Picture 3 & 4 - Kizimkazi fishing village - home to the bottle nose Dolphin. We went for the Dolphin watch and clicked some snaps from the boat.

Picture 5 - A view of the beach and the resort's pool.

Picture 6 - Red Colobus Monkey which is unique to the Island of Zanzibar. They are very friendly and not afraid of humans.

Picture 7 - The Coconut Crab which is a giant crab in Chumbe Island is able to climb the Palm trees and eats young coconuts. This one here is in a cage.

Picture 8 - The sea bed seen so clearly during low tide.

Picture 9 - Sunset in Zanzibar as taken from the restaurant called Africa House.

Karibu to East Africa, you are so lucky to visit Zanzibar i staying in Kenya- East Africa haven't got chance to see Zanzibar and we get great offers as well. i will try to go in December.

just a piece of advice daa,
when u take any landscape photo, make sure the horizon line is perfectly horizontal. In this photo, the horizon line is not straight...
