Kali Puja in Delhi

Kali Puja will be celebrated in temples on 17th October 2009. There are many Kali temples all over Delhi including the ones at Gole Market (near Birla Mandir), Tis Hazari and Chittaranjan Park (near Nehru Place).
In general, the puja concludes well past midnight at about 2.30 am or so.

The Nigambodh Ghat near Rana Pratap Inter State Bus Terminus is unique because it is perhaps the only Kali puja in a cremation ghat in Delhi. The cremation ghat itself is a big landmark and you can take a rickshaw or auto to the place. My best wishes for your photo shoot.
