Fruity Lip Gloss right from the Kitchen

Hey this is a nice tip, It wont bother your lips getting darker..

make it at home of your favorate flavor..

2 Tbls solid shortening
1 Tbls fruit-flavored powdered drink mix
35 mm film container
Mix shortening & drink mix together in a microwave safe bowl till smooth!
Place in microwave on high for 30 seconds until mix becomes a liquid!
Pour into clean film container, or any other small airtight container!

Place mix into fridge for 20-30 minutes or till firm!

Chocolate Lip Gloss

3 tablespoons cocoa butter
4 or 5 chocolate chips
1 capsule vitamin E

Melt all ingredients in a double boiler, and then blend with a spoon until the mixture is very smooth. Put into a container and refrigerate until solid.

hi Shireen, what is that solid shortening how it will be where i will get this? after refrigerating it.. if we keep it in outside temperature, will it become liquid?

Solid shortening is Pretty much a solid form of fat/oil. You can call margarine, butter to be solid shortening..

These have some peculiar smell but when used with flavors they do not smell of the original butter and margarine.

I hope you will find them now in the stores..
